You've partnered with Myprotein to create your own exclusive bundle, why do you use/like each of the items?

I'm obsessed with The Plant Protein because I like to start my mornings with a breakfast smoothie, and I love adding 2 scoops of Plant Protein which gives it the perfect texture and flavor to start my day! I also find that the Plant Protein helps balance my body better than regular whey protein, and it just shows how unique our bodies are, some might love the whey protein and that's what makes them feel the best, but for me personally, the plant protein is just what does it for me and what makes me feel the best mentally and physically. And when it comes to taking your protein on the go, the metal shaker is the right answer! Keeps your drink cool for longer and makes it enjoyable to take it anywhere and drink it on the go.

How did you get into fitness?

I got into fitness when I was quite young, I would say, I started my fitness journey when I was 15. I was living in Denmark, and if anybody knows anything about Denmark, there's quite a lot of land and nature. So, at age 15 I was looking for a new hobby since I easily got bored on the countryside. After being told many times that I could benefit from gaining a few extra pounds on my body, I was fed up with the comments from my friends and decided that fitness was the way to go. It didn't take long before I was bit by the workout bug and couldn't stop working out. A bit later on, I got into calisthenic but have now balanced it out with weightlifting also. I enjoy doing a bit of both now and I'm not only doing it because of the physical changes but also because of how it makes me feel. I love the mental aspect of it and what you get in return from pushing yourself physically.

How do you stay motivated?

I quickly discovered that it's hard to always stay motivated. The truth is that I don't always feel like working out and having to push myself consistently in the gym. I still do it, but it's not because of the motivation, motivation comes and goes, but it's from the discipline that I've build up over the years. Once you learn how to rely on your discipline to execute your goals, then things become a lot easier and more of a habit. So whether you feel like working out or not, you still end up going because I've created a habit. I do, however, still feel motivated, but it's not a consistent feeling, and I think it's important to know that it's okay if you feel like you don't want towork out. But it's not okay to give up,as long as you push through and show up, that's what matters. You might not have as good of a workout, but at least you did something and that's what I think is important.

How does Myprotein support you in staying motivated and reaching your fitness goals?Myprotein provides such a huge selection of products from supplements to clothing which all make me mentally feel better about the journey to getting to my goals. Nothing beats the feeling of putting on a bad-ass Myprotein workout outfit. I don't want to give it all the credit, but truthfully it makes me go a little harder in the gym and makes me feel excited to show up and workout. The confidence is what is important as well, especially by a woman going to the gym you tend to get a little "gym fright" sometimes, so having a bad-ass fit doesn't hurt! I'm also very much a fan of certain supplements such as THE Plant Protein, pre-workout and amino acids. Taking these along with putting in a lot of effort in the gym is what really pushes me to keep going, because I feel like I'm giving it my all and I'm investing in myself and my goals.

I also don't want to leave out the many other athletes that are a part of the Myprotein crew. They're incredibly inspiring and great people that make me feel like I'm a part of something big. They're just another reason why I feel like putting in extra effort in not only my fitness goals but many other aspects of my life.

Fun facts?

Conventional deadlifts or hip thrusts are my go-to exercises.

My go-to cheat meal on a Sunday would probably be just pure chocolate (no shame) or nachos. I (to my big surprise) ended up competing in the calisthenic world championship for women in 2014 representing Denmark.
