1This product is absolutely horrible! It literally smells like a rotting animal. As soon as I opened the bag it stunk up my whole kitchen. Good luck even getting past the smell to taste it. Complete waste of money.Goes Well With:The garbage can

Taste is not that bad if...
5I tried to mix with my home made jus which are mix with mango lemon celery and beet, the result was surprisingly good.

1This was probably the WORST smelling collagen protein I have ever encountered in my life. I have used many different brands, but I figured I would give this one a shot since I love a lot of the My Protein products. Initially when I opened the package it had an odd smell, but most collagen proteins have a smell to them. I put a scoop down in my coffee cup and started to pour my coffee over the power, and the smell of rotten garbage hit me. It was so bad I couldn't handle it, and it made my whole kitchen smell like garbage, I took the bag and immediately threw it in the trash. I would not recommend this to anyone, extremely disappointed in this product.

2So I’ve loved Myprotein whey and casein protein for several years and will continue to buy it for a long time most likely.  But, that being said, they maybe should stick with that...  this stuff smells awful, does. It mix until you really really work at it, and tastes about as terrible as it smells.  The only reason I didn’t give it 1 star is that it’s got a lot of protein compared to most.  Much better tasting and smelling options out there.  Goes Well With:Probably nothing

Coffee addition
5I got a sample of this in one of the chocolate flavors, and flavor-wise it tasted the exact same as a different type of protien that was the same flavor. So it being collagen didn't change any of that. I bought the unflavored kind to mix into my coffee in the morning. It is, in fact, unflavored. That being said, it really does smell like dog farts. It does clump up really bad, but in hot coffee they go away pretty easily. Definitely going to keep adding this. Goes Well With:Coffee

Pretty good
5I've been struggling to replace whey protein with another supplement since I was diagnosed with lactose intolerance. Vegan blends are too caloric for the amount of protein and the taste isn't so great, so I decided to give the collagen protein a whirl. The taste is good, but I recommend mixing in coffee or hot oats. It mixed ok in my lactose free milk, but was still a little clumpy. Much better in coffee. Might even try the unflavored collagen to put into soups and sauces for a protein boost. Overall, I'm pleased. Goes Well With:Coffee

My favorite protein
5I have been drinking the chocolate flavor for about two months now, and it is by far my favorite protein I have ever tried! I drink it with vanilla unsweetened almond milk and this makes my protein shake taste as close to chocolate milk as I think a protein shake can taste. Some advice is to use a shaker or a blender to help the protein combine with the liquid better. I tried stirring it in once and it did not blend as well. Overall a great protein, I definitely recommend! Goes Well With:Vanilla unsweetened almond milk

Rotten tasting and smelling. Moist inside packaging.
1I've tried several collagen products and this was the worst one BY FAR! It tastes and smells rotten — nothing like other collagen products I've had in the past. Tried it a coupe times and it made me feel sick for hours afterwards. I've contacted the company and they are making every excuse possible not to acknowledge they are selling a bad collagen product. I would recommend you skip buying this. Any positive reviews are likely to be FAKE. BE CAREFUL! Goes Well With:NOTHING.

After the chocolate after taste stink and bitter taste...
2After the chocolate flavour is go e, there is an after taste stink and bitter taste, this latter being likely from the artificial sweeteners used. As for the after stench of bovine carcass, this is clearly because this company’s collagen stinks of rotting carcass. Nothing can truly mask that smell. Furthermore, the smell is strong indication that something is very wrong with the bovine used. Could not be consumed in anyway in any case as it gave us stonach ache on two trials. Company refused to puck up item and refund claiming all number of excuses. Will not be buying from this company.Goes Well With:Not good with coffee as the very specious reviewer here stated! It will ruin your usually gorgeous, wonderful smelling aromatic colombian grains  espresso with rotting smell!Â

Does not mix and smells bad
1This collagen is not what hydrolyzed collagen should be like. The powder is kinda puffy-fluffy vs grainy, it smells slightly of barn yard or bone broth, and it does not dissolve well - just kinda lumps up. I tried putting it in my coffee - big mistake, even when I managed to blend it, the smell and the taste (kinda bitter) essentially rendered it not drinkable.Â
