It's been a while since I've nearly puked from food

I'll try to keep this brief. Im a guy who can nearly stomach anything, but this was something else. There is a reason why this is cheap. -This product tastes like slightly sour milk with dirt, I bought chocolate and unflavored, chocolate is bearable, unflavored is puke range. -it doesn't mix. One scoop with 16oz of water gets you a thick mud. A few minutes of sitting and it's back to being clumped at the bottom.

Great price, no bloating, phlegm, or acne

Best price for pea protein I've found so far and has much less sodium than other brands. I recommend mixing in curry or soup rather than shaking in a blender bottle which leaves it frothy w/ a dirt taste.
Goes Well With:
savory dishes (curry, hummus, soup)

Bottom line is I cannot stand sweet stuff, and even a bigger hater of artificial sweeteners. I am a 'savory' soup & beans kind of guy. This protein powder is perfect for a veggie/bean soup as it makes it "milky" with using dairy. Yes, I add spices to my food so I cant smell or taste it. From my perspective, it tastes like putting a dollop of hummus in my beans or even a few spoons of shredded cheese. Great item.

Soups & beans

I just want to say that the unflavor version taste great. Try it and see for yourself, if you are like me, you won't regret it!
Goes Well With:
Water or rice.

I've been buying the unflavoured pea protein for about a year now and I love it! I used to buy the brown rice protein but it was too harsh on my throat. I ordered the sample vanilla stevia and chocolate stevia and they taste awesome. I will be ordering the 5.5lbs of vanilla stevia very soon. In order to mask the taste of the unflavoured pea protein follow this receipe or feel free to add what you like (: 1 medium banana 2 cups almond milk 1 (25g) scoop pea protein isolate 2 tsp of cocoa powder 2 Tbsp of powdered peanut butter 1 packet of stevia Tastes amazing 😍
Goes Well With:
Almond milk, peanut butter, banana, cocoa powder

While the taste of the unflavored pack is relatively undrinkable, it can be masked with other powders. It mixes well with other protein, which is what I have done to get it down, but I don't recommend the peanut butter flavdrops to mask the flavor, unless you use a lot.Overall I recommend these because of its mixability and price to protein ratio.
Goes Well With:
Chocolate Smooth Soy protein+yogurt+ banana smoothie

Terrible

1
Overall:

This is the worst tasting protein powder I have ever tried in my life. I've attempted nearly everything to improve the taste (made it into a soup, blended it into a berry smoothie, blended it with a green smoothie, etc. ). Nothing works. It honestly smells like the cricket food at the pet store. I literally have to plug my nose and chug it back as fast as I can before I start gagging. No thank you. I will never buy this again.

Love the product, but there’s a problem with the packaging. It’s the second time that I get a protein pouch that does’nt “zip”, I have to fold the bag and seal it with a clip, but it doesn’t stay as fresh.
Goes Well With:
Oatmeal, fruits, chia pudding

This is Pea Protein. Period. If you want milkshake flavours buy milkshakes... I’m a long-time user of pea protein and regarding flavour this is as good as it gets. It’s texture is better than any of the others I’ve tried. Which when it comes to pea can be super gritty, this is not gritty at all! If you’re serious about effective vegan protein then use this, flavour should be your last priority. Keep making this awesome product!
Goes Well With:
I use coconut milk, blueberries, avocado, sometimes half a banana if I want it a bit sweeter. And a bit of ghee if I want a buttery taste.

Disgusting

Overall:

Honestly this is probably some of the worst protein I've ever tasted. I have 5.5 pounds of it and have been using it in chocolate chip protein pancakes to rid of it. Meh. It is good for what it is but the texture and taste are not worth it.
