These rely totally on the strength of your grip and provide padding but nothing else. They don’t actually help with grip during anything like a deadlift because the weight is solely in your hands with nothing being supported or being distributed to the wrist like conventional lifting straps. If you want something that will help with your actual grip, these aren’t the ones. Without a strong grip, the bar just rolls right out of your fingers so these provide no support.

I found these to be so unhelpful with lifts! They provide little grip and the bar slips straight out of them during any kind of deadlift. I wish I hadn’t bothered.

It helped improve my deadlifts because once your grip fails you can still continue with your sets and get more volume in for your lower back.

These are great for dips or bench press but are too short for deadlift. They don't wrap enough around the bar to have a good grip.
