High quality, low prices, and taste amazing with vanilla flax milk Goes Well With:Almond, coconut, soy, flax,.almond coconut milk, any type. Not the best with water but sometimes ya gotta go with what you have
Been my go to for about a year since I went vegan. It's plain flavored and naturally earthy / has a saw dust taste. Mix it with some frozen fruit and cacao powder and it's perfect. As for macros. Just as good as whey for cal/protein content along with some Fibre. Goes Well With:Frozen fruit Almond milk
Get product. Just wish it was in stock more often. Goes Well With:Water, Soy milk
The 5.5 pound bag went quick because I drank it very frequently. The taste was very smooth and somewhat sweet. It really tastes what it looks like. Nutty, cocoa, earthy. I was very pleased. Goes Well With:Soy milk
Like a lot of people, I don't handle dairy very well. This becomes an issue when it comes to supplements. For a couple years I've done Carnivor Beef Protein, but was hoping to find something that wasn't meat-based. The reviews on the Brown Rice Protein seemed pretty good, so I gave it a whirl. It's disgusting. I'm a hardgainer, so I'll take what I can get in terms of macros; it ain't always gonna be delicious. But brace yourself with this stuff. They should use it to build bridges. It tastes TREMENDOUSLY bad and mixes into a thick enough solution to pave your driveway with, but protein is protein. You just need to ask yourself: how bad do I want these gains? Goes Well With:A can-do attitude and the ability to choke down garbage
i got this because its a good substitute for whey since dairy do causes acne i use this instead , i would recommend everyone to take it with smoothies rather than water.Goes Well With:oats and almond milk smoothies
Ill start off with saying this is the best bang for your buck you will find in protein powder especially vegan ones. On the other hand the taste is so strong my girlfriend can't stomach it even for a scoop. I mix flavorful fruits with it and still it over powers with 2 scoops but who cares about taste with a price so low I can just chug it down. the thing that throws me off is the iron content is a bit higer than I would expect. Goes Well With:instant oats, banana and berries. mixed with almond milk/applejuice
Need more of this, and more pea protein isolate in stock. Love the stuff, but it's never available so I end up having to buy elsewhere. Goes Well With:Oatmeal, smoothies
You can't beat myprotein when it comes to quality and affordable proteins. I just wish they wouldn't go out of stock so fast...Goes Well With:Almond milk
Been trying to get dairy out of my diet so I've been switching to plant based. The macros are great on this protein and it mixes well. I usually put it in a smoothie but with flavdrops or something similar you could make it taste good. There's a slight grit to the taste but I've gotten use to it. If you're look for whey alternatives then give this a try, it can't be beat for the price! Goes Well With:Smoothies, almond milk, and more
Stop running out!!! Great product. Thanks.Goes Well With:itself
This is an extremely gritty protein powder that sinks shortly after you mix it. Even when blended with frozen fruits, it is still sinks and becomes a gritty mess. Additionally, about twenty minuets after I consume it, I get a monstrous headache and terrible stomach ache. I was looking for a whey alternative as all whey proteins make me ill. Even though the soy is a bit clumpy, it is a significantly better non-whey alternative!
Very gritty, does not mix well and tastes terrible, the taste can be overcome however the lack of mix ability cannot. I would neither recommend or purchase this product againGoes Well With:Almond milk, vanilla
This well-priced powder is a proverbial godsend. For plant-based protein needs, it hits pretty much all the bases. No digestive side effects, no aftertaste, and perhaps most importantly, it's affordable. That's right; MyProtein actually DOESN'T overprice its vegan protein to exploit this niche-within-a-niche market. I appreciate that. This is a product that makes it onto my regular food shopping list. I sometimes also use a leucine powder to round out the amino acid profile. Works for me. Goes Well With:Berries, peanut butter, banana, raw oatmeal
I bought this product to see if it could replace some of my whey protein consumption, and it has worked out great. The UK MyProtein site prominently features the amino acid profile of this protein, and compared to other non-dairy sources, the brown rice protein is excellent. I use this primarily in smoothies, as the powder by itself has an off-putting cardboard flavor and gritty texture when mixed with just water. Fruit helps to mask the flavor, but some graininess does remain. Of course it's not enough to keep me from using this product; I'll happily order this again for its nutritional value. Goes Well With:blended fruits or juice in a pinch
