Add 150-250ml of water or milk into our shaker (the less liquid the thicker the shake will be). Then add just under 1 MP large scoop (30g), shake and consume. Use 2-3 times daily or as required.

Been trying to get dairy out of my diet so I've been switching to plant based. The macros are great on this protein and it mixes well. I usually put it in a smoothie but with flavdrops or something similar you could make it taste good. There's a slight grit to the taste but I've gotten use to it. This is an extremely gritty protein powder that sinks shortly after you mix it. Even when blended with frozen fruits, it is still sinks and becomes a gritty mess. Additionally, about twenty minuets after I consume it, I get a monstrous headache and terrible stomach ache. I was looking for a whey alternative as all whey proteins make me ill. Even though the soy is a bit clumpy, it is a significantly better non-whey alternative!

This well-priced powder is a proverbial godsend. For plant-based protein needs, it hits pretty much all the bases. No digestive side effects, no aftertaste, and perhaps most importantly, it's affordable. That's right; MyProtein actually DOESN'T overprice its vegan protein to exploit this niche-within-a-niche market. I appreciate that. This is a product that makes it onto my regular food shopping list. I sometimes also use a leucine powder to round out the amino acid profile. Works for me. I bought this product to see if it could replace some of my whey protein consumption, and it has worked out great. The UK MyProtein site prominently features the amino acid profile of this protein, and compared to other non-dairy sources, the brown rice protein is excellent. I use this primarily in smoothies, as the powder by itself has an off-putting cardboard flavor and gritty texture when mixed with just water. Fruit helps to mask the flavor, but some graininess does remain. Of course it's not enough to keep me from using this product; I'll happily order this again for its nutritional value.
