  • Product Overview

Our Calcium Caseinate is 100% pure spray-dried milk protein derived from fresh skimmed milk – and at 80% protein, it’s great for getting the protein you need each and every day.

This slow-digesting protein is also low in fat and sodium, while providing your body with key nutrients such as calcium and glutamine.

What are the benefits of Calcium Caseinate?

This protein source provides 24g protein per serving, which contributes to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass. Plus, as it’s slow-digesting, it offers you nutritional benefits throughout the day – even while you sleep.

Available in delicious Chocolate Smooth, Strawberry Cream, and unflavored, it’s perfect for mixing with milk, water, or your Favorite smoothies at any time of the day.

Don’t worry if your shake foams up more than other protein you’ve tried! This is simply due to physical properties of the product, and a result of its slow-releasing benefits.

Won't Mix with ANYTHING

My wife and I have been using whey protein in our shakes every morning and after hearing the benefits of casein protein vs whey, we wanted to make the switch since casein seem to fit more in line of our goals vs whey. Well the particular product is an epic fail. We tried it in our blender and it basically made chocolate pudding. I thought maybe I was the problem, that I wasn't blending right. Wrong. This product is un-mixable. I tried it with water and milk. I tried it with 8, 12, and 16 ounces of both liquids. Every time it turned into a disgusting chocolate pudding/gel. DO NOT BUY!
Goes Well With:
Nothing apparently

I usually don't care too much about taste, but this stuff is pretty bad. It's chalky and mixes terribly. Tastes pretty bad, too (chocolate flavor). All that said, the nutrition facts are impressive and the price was right. I'd say it definitely needs to be put in the blender, maybe with a scoop of peanut butter and some milk/almond milk. It's not anywhere as tasty as the whey protein, but it's meant for a specific purpose (slow release). I will def say that a shake with this will fill you up more than whey.
Goes Well With:
milk, peanut butter

I gave the effectiveness one star because I couldn’t even eat enough of it to see how it works. I mixed it with a cup of almond milk and it turned into gel almost immediately. The taste isn’t horrible, I’m sure I could choke it down if it were actual liquid, but I had to eat it with a spoon and the texture was AWFUL. I love their whey protein, but this one was not for me.

Night fuel

I take this before I sleep and love knowing that it will protect my gains while I sleep. Casein products are just a must if you are serious about maintaining muscle. This one is delicious. Fully recommend the choc smoooth with milk. Big treat before bed time
Goes Well With:
milk- put in a blender

Does what Casein does.

So i've officially tried all 3 casein products at MP (Milk Protein, CalciumCase, and Miscell) There is definitely a difference in quality and usability between the three, hence the change in price tag between the three. This product, Calcium Caseinate definitely belongs in the center of the 3. It mixes with milk or water and absorbs any liquid just as expected. It doesnt foam up weirdly like MilkProtein making it impossible to mix into a shake. But it doesnt mix into something smooooth like Miscellar does. It needs a lot of liquid and even then its still chunky. So this product turns into a sorta chunky pudding when you mix milk with it. Add some peanut butter/ground nuts onto that and MMMMM. Using this powder in your shaker WILL cause a thick substance and will remain sticky in the shaker, youll have to use a spoon to get it out!
Goes Well With:
Ground nuts. Nut butter. A BOWL, NOT A SHAKER.
