To preface, I drink my shakes with Soylent 2.0, so it might affect flavor profiles. Soylent kind of tastes like the milk that is leftover in a bowl of Cheerios. I've tried Smooth Chocolate (GOOD!), Mint Chocolate (It's alright, but I got overwhelmed by the mintyness of it pretty quick - I would mix it with another scoop of chocolate in my 2 scoop shakes. I did not like chocolate mint when mixed with water. Pretty disgusting actually), Glazed Donut (Non-isolate flavor, it's good, especially when mixed with a chocolate flavor if you like chocolate glazed donuts), and Chocolate Brownie flavor. I really, really like chocolate brownie flavor - I don't get the hate for it. It tastes like a richer, thicker chocolate... like a brownie, really. Soooo yeah - get it if you really like brownies. If you want a safe bet, just get smooth chocolate. It's as good as any other chocolate flavor protein I've had.Goes Well With:Soylent
Taste like weak skim milk. Easy to mix with other flavorGoes Well With:water, peanut butter, bananas, smoothies
Just got my order a couple days ago. I read other reviews on the chocolate mint flavor where people said it tastes like Andy's mints. I totally agree! It's super delicious. I mix mine with unsweetened vanilla almond milk and love it. Haven't tried mixing it with water yet. Goes Well With:Almond milk
The matcha flavor isn't good (tastes kind of like chemicals more than matcha) but the cinnamon roll is my new favorite. Tastes delicious. Dissolves easily in water, especially when you use a shaker bottle.
Simply, great for smoothies. Very pure protein, unflavored is also bearable with water onlyGoes Well With:Post-workout smoothie
I was nervous to try Cookies & Creme based off of bad reviews, but I'm not a huge chocolate or vanilla gal. I am very impressed with the quality and taste of this protein, it is much better than many brands I have paid much more for and I don't mind the taste of this flavor at all. Really nice for the price. Wanted to let anyone know who is interested in Cookies & Creme to give it a try! As long as you know it tastes more like sweet vanilla cookie taste rather than an oreo shake. Overall, was very impressed with the protein quality, mixability, and taste. I can't say the same for the Creatine and BCAAS I ordered with it - but thats another story. Will order this protein again.Goes Well With:Water, Milk
The strawberry flavor was good but the chocolate brownie was awful
I recently joined a gym for the first time. Having never been a member of a gym or taken protein supplements before, I did a lot of research to determine what type of proteins were out there and what was going to be best for me. I wanted to find a protein that was affordable, was something I would enjoy drinking and not just something I tolerated, and had a good list of ingredients. I'm a pharmaceutical scientist who works with chemical hazards everyday. I know which ingredients out there are not good to put in your body. MyProtein was exactly what I was looking for. Only the ingredients necessary to do the work, without adding unnecessary additives, yet it still tastes great. I have to be careful because even on my off days I'll find myself wanting to make a shake. They taste that good. And with all of the deals the site has, it was even cheaper than buying on Amazon with my Prime account. I couldn't be happier.Goes Well With:Milk, Almond Milk
Sucralose (splenda) can cause some pretty horrible digestive problems in some people. I'm 100% positive that it was causing my issues, as I stopped using flavored and went to unflavored. Goes Well With:Oatmeal, almond milk
I just recently received the impact whey and very impressed. This one mixes very well even with almond milk. I bought chocolate brownie and cookies and cream and very happy with both flavors. Just placed my second order for some BCAAs. Looking forward to trying those out too.
Good price as cheapest protein isolate i've used. Chocolate mint is the best flavor ever. Love it !!!Goes Well With:Almond Milk
Chocolate Brownie flavor was so awful, I threw away both 2.2lb pouches and stopped purchasing Myprotein products for nearly half a year.Goes Well With:Milk
I love the Impact Whey Isolate, so far I have had the Vanilla, Strawberry Cream, and Chocolate. My favorite so far is the Strawberry. I drink it with unsweetened almond milk after my workouts and it is very good! I also make protein yogurt cups using plain Greek yogurt, protein powder, raw oats, 85% cocoa bits and blueberries to eat before my workouts, so yummy, I always look forward to having one. I have ordered the Natural Banana and Cinnamon Roll this go round. I hope I like them just as much.Goes Well With:Unsweetened Almond Milk Plain Greek Yogurt
The MyProtein Chocolate Smooth whey isolate is now my go-to shake. In terms of taste, mixability, and cost, I've never seen anything better than this. This brand has totally won me over.Goes Well With:Water, Almond Milk
I normally LOVE the MyProtein flavors. In the past, I've only had great experiences with them. However, the matcha green tea whey was terrible (and I drink a lot of matcha). I ordered a 1kg bag, expecting it to taste on par with the rest of their whey isolates; big mistake. Tasted like a cross between soap and toothpaste, like a minty cleaning product. I'll probably still try new flavors as they're released, but this is just a warning to stay away from the matcha green tea whey. Save your money.
I purchased the cinnamon roll flavor to mix in to oats and it tastes exactly like cinnamon and sugar. I love it in oats but it mixes great with a little bit of water too. Not chalky at all and great amount of protein/calories in a serving. I will be purchasing other flavors in the future for sure. Goes Well With:Oatmeal Water
I've been doing some extensive research and I have found that this product is what I have been looking for, for my fitness and health goals. I decided to order it and give it a try. I have only been taking it for 4 days now so I haven't seen any results quite yet, but as for the flavor, mixability, and taste I have to give it 5 stars! I ordered the Rocky Road and the Strawberries and Cream and I must say they taste just like their designated titles. Very Good! I wasn't disappointed in the taste at all or the after taste which sometimes they can leave a sweet or funny taste behind, but these two didn't. Also the mixability was amazing! I didn't have any clumps, chalkiness, or where it was too thick as I don't like mine on the thicker side. I prefer it to be on the less thick side and more smooth like a smoothie. I can't wait to see the results start to transform in the gym as I work out everyday almost. Will post another one later on letting everyone know the results I start to hopefully see in the gym. In the mean time if you are looking for a product that has a higher protein rating with lower fat / calories this is the one for you! Also this is good for you if your slightly lactose intolerant. Also lastly this shake is NOT intended to be a meal substitute. For example if you want it to replace breakfast it won't give you enough calories that you need for the day. You will NEED to eat something with it like fruit, and oatmeal, or boiled eggs. You can use it as a snack in between meals though and 30 minutes before or after working out. Goes Well With:Coconut Milk, Almond Milk, Plain Milk, Soy Milk, and Water. Also depending on what flavor you order if you get tired of the same old flavor mix it up by blending it in a blender with fruits, Yogurt, chia seeds, flax seeds, or even peanut butter powder. I sometimes do this to change it up and add another dimension to my morning shake.
Love the isolates! They don't hurt my stomach and I am lactose-intolerant. The flavours are mild but they mix great and I love them!
I love this stuff. Make sure you add Dannon yogurt and almond milk to to your shake! The first time I bought plain but I think the next time I will buy cinnamon roll. Also use a blender, the powder is thick to me then again I don’t have nothing to compare it too since I never had another brand. Really don’t remember how I found this site but I’m sure glad I did! It’s works getting your tummy flat girls Goes Well With:Dannon yogurt all flavors Almond milk Fresh or frozen fruits
I've tried many different brands and MyProtein is up near the top in pretty much every category. I like the isolate, mixes great, and other than cookies and cream (seriously MP folks, let's get back to the drawing board) tastes great! Labdoor also ranks them high in value and quality... don't overthink it, it's a good product
