My protein supplements which is an authentic trade mark for results.Whey protein is produced during the process that sees milk turned into cheese. It is also found naturally in dairy products, eggs, soy and vegetable proteins but none of these compares in quality to whey protein powder. It also scores highly in providing the branched chain amino acids that are important in the building and retention of muscle.Whey protein is highly favored by bodybuilders because it provides the necessary building blocks to produce the amino acids that the body uses to build lean muscle tissue. Many studies have shown that whey protein contains the perfect combination of amino acids, in just the right concentration for optimal performance in the body. It is also thought that whey protein has a role as an anti-oxidant and immune system builder. It is best taken in powder form mixed in juice or milk, spread throughout the day to maintain a positive nitrogen balance. Serious bodybuilders often consume up to one hundred fifty grams each day but as a rule of thumb, daily protein intake for active trainers can be calculated by taking your weight in pounds and multiplying by one or two. But remember, you need to work out how much protein is taken from food and other sources, and then spread the remaining whey protein balance over the day.Whey protein is a relatively safe supplement but no more than thirty grams of protein should be taken at one sitting as excessive single doses could overload the liver. The safety of whey protein has been well documented in many scientific studies and there is clear proof that taken consistently, coupled with regular exercise, it will result in meaningful muscle gain.
I am one of the authorised reviewer for Myprotein products. Check seal below for authentication. Myprotein has always invested a lot in product innovation and quality. This works as an effective supplement to boost endurance and overall energy levels when taken pre workout, i also feel they work well intra workout during hard workouts to allow for you to maintain higher levels of intensity, being essential amino acids these cannot be product by the body and must be consumed from food sources. This powdered version works well and bipasses digestion unlike solid foods and goes straight to the muscle where it can provide its performance benefit, and aid in muscle repair after hard workouts. And hey don't forget to use referral code 'fit - rr' (no space in between hyphen and letters) in capital letters while signing up for great offers. My protein supplements are best. Today I'll share some tips of excess intake of protein. The body is unable to store excess protein. Dietary protein is converted to individual amino acids by the digestive process, which are then absorbed. When amino acids are in excess of needs the liver takes up the amino acids and subjects them to deanimation, a process that converts the nitrogen from the amino acids into ammonia, further processed in the liver into urea via the urea cycle. Excretion of urea is performed by the kidneys. Other parts of the amino acid molecules can be converted into glucose and used for fuel. When food protein intake is periodically high or low, the body tries to keep protein levels at an equilibrium by using the "labile protein reserve" to compensate for daily variations in protein intake. However, unlike body fat as a reserve for future caloric needs, there is no protein storage for future needs.Excessive intake of protein increases calcium excretion in urine, occurring to compensate for the pH imbalance from oxidation of sulfur amino acids. The research is inconclusive as to whether this calcium excretion from bone resorption contributes to osteoporosis. A regular intake of calcium stabilizes this loss. But then another issue arising from over-consumption of protein is a higher risk of kidney stone formation from calcium in the renal circulatory system.
Mprotein is a kind of brand that has always stayed ahead of its competitors. It offers a range of flavours that is more diverse than other competitors which provides something to suit anyone taste. I used to use the unflavoured version to start with and found it to be bearable and taste like watered down skimmed milk when mixed with water, then i went for chocolate mint and did not go back to unflavoured due to the quality of the flavour which does make this more enjoyable and easy to consume on a daily basis. This product mixes easily in a mixer master or wire ball shaker with around 200-300 ml of liquid per 50 grams of protein. It can also be used to make great low carb protein bars and protein cookies when combined with one ingredient which is the vitafiber syrup. Whey protein has been an aid in my muscular development allowing for me to have more improved recovery from workouts and be able to add more lean mass when bulking and preserve more muscle when dieting down to low bodyfat levels. For a bulking shake i recommend combining with some peanut or almond butter smooth and adding some instant oats and semi or full fat milk for the calories. If you are unsure of flavours to try i recommend the chocolate mint, chocolate brownie and salted caramel, all of these have been great for me and do not become sickly after a week of continuous daily consumption. if you found value in my review then please use my referral code fit - rr (no space in between dash and letters) and all in capital letters at checkout for an extra 25% off order. My protein never fails me with their products, instant oats are just as the name says instant oatmeal that's mixable with your drinks. Its a must have if filling in calories without suffering from added bulk of ingredientsGoes Well With:Water, protein powder, meals, milk you name it
Was surprised how good they tasted, and will buy from again!
Just bought this. I absolutely love it. Taste is amazing. Mix it with my almond milk and a scoop of protein. Great preworkout snack or great to drink with breakfast. Perfect for after workout as well!! Love love love it. Strawberry.
High carb content and great for use in high calorie shakes. I love it. Goes Well With:Milk and anything else you could want.
Seriously love by these! So easy and simpleGoes Well With:I use it with my protein and almond milk or just almond milk
Good product that helps me drink my carbs after a workout. Just make sure to use plenty of liquid, otherwise your drink will be way too thick.Goes Well With:Milk, almond milk
I bought 2 bags of the chocolate smooth after trying the unflavored bags because they were out of stock on the unflavored. The chocolate smooth is EXTEMELY hard to BLEND alone with water. The mixability is a huge factor when buying powders because the last thing you want is the powder getting stuck to the sides of the blender or just NOT blending at all until you keep adding more and more water. On the other hand, I would give the unflavored 5 stars all the way since it mixes and tastes great in a smoothie. I have used cocoa powder before so I know that's not responsible for the clumping so it seems it's the added sugar and sucralose that gives it a very "sticky" and thick mixability.
Instant oats is good for what it's worth, the mixing is clumpy tho. Needs tons of water to mix better.Goes Well With:Water.
my wife and I bought the vanilla oats 2 pound bag to mix with are chocolate smooth whey isolate that was great but didn't last we had to get 11pound unflavored oats it helps keep us full during workout over sometimes it some of don't mix but that's ok I ordered another 11 pound bag of it.Goes Well With:chocolate smooth protein water milk almond milk
I got the unflavored and chocolate and both are simple and clean with the chocolate having a hot cocoa type of taste to it, easy to add to protein powders or standalone just for the added calories or in between meals fill up.Goes Well With:Any type of existing powder supps
So I've bought the oats a few times. They taste pretty good, fill me up, and give you a bunch of carbs right after your workout which is awesome. However, MyProtein has hands down some of the best customer service ever. I had a package of mine stolen from my apartment, I contacted MyProtein and they replaced the stolen contents free of charge. You don't find customer service like that very often and it was awesome on their part. I will be a loyal customer for a long time to come!Goes Well With:cold water, creatine, whey protein isolate
Part of me thought when i opened the bag, that they were going to be whole oats, which they are not. They are powdered oats and they taste pretty good and are cheap, Plus MyProtein ships to APO win win winGoes Well With:iso my protein rocky road to give it a bit more thickness
I received my first pouch of Instant Oats today and just made my first shake and am very pleased with this product. I ordered the unflavored version and found that it mixes well in a blender with unflavored almond milk, and together they have a pleasant taste. I ordered this product because at the end of each day I regularly still have 20-50 grams of carbs left to meet my macros and I don't always want to cook up something so being able to make a shake with a low GI carb source is very helpful. I recommend this product to others! Enjoy.Goes Well With:Unflavored almond milk.
Tastes good, it's legitimately sugar free, and mixes well. A little chalky but it tastes great for what it is. Goes Well With:Water,
Good taste but do remember to thoroughly clean out the mixer other wise there will be a thick residue left behind. That comes with its own distinct odor.
Good product. Mixes well. The zipping system is very poor. Bag fails to seal.Goes Well With:All of the banana flavored protein drinks (Milk protein / Casein / Whey isolate)
