Smells like Fishfood
4Okay, unflavored smells like fish food, and tastes like sawdust MIXED with fish food; but it mixes well with water and if you toss it back, it does its job. I'm not trying to sip on unflavored pea protein. It's just used on days when I don't drink whey isolate. Goes Well With:Water, psyllium

5i was skeptical but i love the all natural ingredients so i tried it and love it the taste is great and it mixes so much better than most plant based protein's i mix one one up everyday for my dry drive home from the gym Goes Well With:it goes great with my instantized creatine for a delicious post workout drink

Meh - Won't order again
2The taste is alright, but it mixes much poorer than the whey isolate (which is my regular purchase). I had to cut the amount of powder in half just to get it to mix enough to be drinkable, and it still isn't great. I will definitely be going back to whey isolate after I finish this off.

Great for shakes - see below for recipe
5Great isolate. Other isolates are anhydrous and dry, so when you open the bag the dust goes everywhere. Not this one, it is not completely anhydrous, so the protein is easy to scoop (doesnt make a mess), and invisible in fruit smoothies. See below for a great recipe! Cant beat the price either if you can get a good sale.Goes Well With:10/10 shake recipe: 100g protein isolate, 4 cups apple juice, 170g oikos pro yogurt, 5g creatine (optional), 300g frozen fruit (i use mango). delicious, easy to drink, shake that keeps you full and delivers the macros you need in the perfect ratio

Very thick and chalky
3I mixed this up as I normally would any other powder and that was a mistake. This powder come out MUCH thicker than any other powder that I've used before. The taste is also quite lacking but it is something that I might be able to get use to.

Not the worst, not the best
3Vegan protein is hard to get perfect. However this protein mixes well and only has a slight grainey/chalky texture. I’ve definitely had worse ones! The taste isn’t sweet at all, barely tastes like chocolate. But I do think it mixes well with a lot of things. Goes Well With:Almond milk, chocolate almond milk, banana peanut butter smoothie.

Much better than expected, based on bad reviews
5I wanted to try this unflavored protein because 1. It's cheaper 2. I'm tired of ingesting tons of sugar substitutes 3. I know peas are an excellent protein source. I was almost put off by some of the bad reviews, but I'm glad I tried it anyway. It tastes like your various "milks" at the store, rice milk, hemp milk etc. Think of this as "pea milk". It mixes almost instantly, especially compared to whey protein. I quite literally mixed with a spoon in a glass and after a few stirs, it was good to go. I think some people are just soft, there's nothing wrong with this protein powder.Goes Well With:Water
