Best Pancake for the macros
4So I've had my fair share of protein pancakes, homemade and box type. Kodiak Cakes flapjack and waffle mix is hands down the best for flavor, but these are hands down the best for ease of use and straight-up simple clean and filling macros. I'm 6'3 215 and am in contest prep, I have an extremely large appetite and as such these are going to be a staple of my morning. 500 calories for two MASSIVE pancakes and some turkey bacon and under 35g carbs? Sign me up. To those mentioning lack of taste, go for Kodiak Cakes. If you've made your own protein DISCS before to no solid success, these do a bang up job. Very fluffy for my liking, browned up really well, and took on the taste of my walden farms syrup easily. Will I be eating these in my offseason? No, I'll stick to Kodiak Cakes or my local pancake house down the street. These are absolutely clutch if you're on a calorie budget and are a bit difficult to satiate. 9/10, because nothing is every perfect and there's always room for improvement (see, lack of taste). Goes Well With:Turkey bacon, Sugar free syrup, half a scoop to a scoop of your preferred protein powder (cinnamon for the win, salted caramel is, interesting).

3These pancakes have zero taste, which to me I didn’t think was bad until I tried it, I had to add a lot of fruit in the mixture and I added vanilla extract as well to help with the taste. As well the water portions are completely off, I use double sometimes triple the amount of water that it tells you to use on the bag just because if you don’t the pancakes are too thick and you don’t use all the powder. Or it doesn’t cook properly. The nutrition facts are awesome but there is also a crazy high amount of sodium which I was very surprised to see.Goes Well With:Goes perfect with with kind of berries or fruit and maple syrupÂ

4 More dense than Flourish Pancakes. I like my pancakes doughy. These are hard to get that texture, and I find the outside it more like a biscuit. I’ve experimented with a few ingredients but because these rise so much you need to weigh them down. A banana helps. I also use this mix for a muffin base.Goes Well With:Very ripe Banana, chocolate chips, cocoa powder, water (58c, 25.3p, 7.9f)

5The consistency, quality and taste of the pancakes made with this mix were amazing!Â
Report this reviewSavoury crepes or wraps
5I know it’s meant to be for pancakes and they are actually not a bad pancake mix. A bit tasteless and more like the powdered skim milk taste. But I found that if you use unsweetened cashew milk and 4oz compared to the 2oz (1/4c) It calls for, you have better success in it.Goes Well With:I also use it for savoury wraps and crepes, and as it cooks I add in “every but the bagel” seasoning  and it tastes great with, eggs, baked tomatoes with rosemary, cheese and onions.

4Don't back to back taste versus the real stuff, you would be disappointed but otherwise good. Like mentioned by others users they work very well as a oven baked bread. I personally prefer doing them in the waffle iron. They are quite dry, you need a drink with them. Very filling. You can cut them into pieces and season them or make mini sandwich that you can take on rides or hikes as a snack. Simple ingredients. I like it, especially for a father of three with a dog and a full-time job who doesn't always have time...Goes Well With:Anything really, salty or sweet.
Report this reviewHigh protein but could use flavour
4It’s the thickest pancake I’ve ever made and I mean THICK. I followed the instructions, 2 scoops and 1/4c water. It would come off as too doughy and sticky that I add a bit more water to make it slightly runny so it’s easier to pour on the pan. I tried putting it on my waffle maker and it is indeed thick and makes 1 Belgian waffle per serving. I put probably 20 drops of maple Flavdrops but there’s still something about the taste that puts me off. I don’t taste the maple at all. It tastes eggy and dry. Compared to the P28 protein pancake that I used to buy a lot (coconut white chocolate), that one had flavour but always comes out as thin as a crepe. Overall it’s great for protein and is very filling. Would buy again, but would like to see a difference in flavour Goes Well With:Maple syrupÂ

5If you add: 2 scoops of this, 1/8 cup water, 4 eggs, 4 ounces of cream cheese, 1tsp vanilla, 1 tsp baking powder you will get 17 decent sized pancakes that are 1 carb each and taste amazing. Add fruit and it's still keto friendly, for those who eat low carb.

5Absolutely love this pancake mix! I've tried other brands that are good but this tastes good and has better macros with an even better price! I don't make these in a skillet, I use this mix to make a pancake bake in the oven and it puffs up and is insanely fluffy! I'm talking like a loaf of soft bread!!! Its amazing!! Will continue to buy this when it's back in stock!!Goes Well With:Everything! Mixes great with additional whey protein, yogurt, egg whites, fruit, etc.

4Pancakes were just OK I recommend buying the flavor drops in the maple and adding that.. I’d like to see them raise the fiber content so it would bring down the carbohydrate impact..Goes Well With:Peanut butter and maple syrup.
