As expected
5This powder is a high-quality product, as I expect from MyProtein. Other reviews of the unflavored protein powder mentioned how chalky/flavorless this product is, and I have had the same experience. When using this, mixing with fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, or plant milk works well to mask the very bland protein flavor.Goes Well With:Fruit

Great except you need to blend it
5I’ve gotten this protein powder with my boyfriend 6+ times. It arrives on time and delivery has never been a problem. It tastes great to me both of us. Only problem is when cooking with it it leaves clumps (like adding it to stovetop oatmeal) but in baking it goes great. One solution i found is blending the milk and protein before pouring the milk in and it works perfectly. For the quantity/quality the price is great. Goes Well With:Any baked good-just add a little more water than usual Smoothies Nice cream Proats (protein oats)

Too much stevia
2I tried mixing one scoop of the Vanilla with water and the amount of stevia in this formula was overpowering. I could barely drink it. I also don't recommend adding powder directly into oatmeal while it's cooking on the stove.. the powder turned into little clumps and I had to toss the oatmeal because again, it was way too sweet for me. I regret buying the 5lb bag without trying a sample.

I can't get past the taste
1`I tried the unflavored powder, and I can't put it in anything to get myself to finish it. Smoothies, pancakes, oatmeal, and anything else I tried just tasted cakey and awful. I'd imagine you could acquire a taste for it, and it does mix well, but I've tried it for 6 months and I still hate it.

Better than some of the poor reviews suggest
5I was iffy on purchasing this protein because of the 1 star reviews. After buying the 2.2lb bag, I have no regrets. 25g of protein isn't the most on the internet but it is good for plant based. The flavor is in my opinion very good especially when mixed with almond or soy milk. When mixed with water it can get a tiny bit chalky but this is just a fact of life with all of the different protein powders I've tried. Only complaint I have is that the scoop was buried under the protein powder when the package arrived and digging through 2.2 lbs of powder was slightly annoying. This hasn't been an issue since opening the package. Overall one of my favorite protein powders.Goes Well With:Almond milk, soy milk and other plant based milks, oatmeal and honestly water isn't too bad.

Hard to keep down
1Same taste and texture I remember from decades ago. Used for just 2 drinks and I gave it away. Horrible flavor (unflavored) and super grainy going down. I was optimistic beforehand, thought “how bad could it be?”. Play it safe, order a sample size first.Goes Well With:Can’t imagine

Soy Protein Isolate
5Used in sausage making as a binding agent to retain moisture, this is the reason I actually purchased this. Only place I could buy in quantity at a reasonable price. 1 cup of this in a 6 lb meatloaf instead of break crumbs, is amazing,Goes Well With:Meatloaf and for meatballs or sausages in place of other binding agents like bread crumbs.

A Worthwhile Product
4-Short Story: great value, but avoid if you think that an unpleasant texture or flavor will be a hindrance. -Long Story: I bought this product because I'm lactose intolerant but find protein drinks to be a very convenient way to meet my daily protein quota. Not being a fan of artificial sweeteners, I bought the unflavored version, which I've found to have a strong soy flavor (no surprise there) that can be difficult to overpower. The powder is very chalky and difficult (but not impossible) to mix with water and lactose free/almond milk. Often if I don't drink fast enough residue will accumulate on the bottom of the shaker bottle. You cannot beat the price, as it is less expensive than regular whey protein and has more protein per serving than even whey isolate. I have read that unlike a lot of other vegan protein sources; soy is a complete protein, meaning that it contains meaningful amounts of the 9 essential amino acids.Goes Well With:I tend to mix it with Ovaltine and lactose-free milk.
