If you want to work out but feel like you don't have the energy, we've all been there. But oftentimes, feeling tired or unmotivated before a workout is a result of not preparing properly. That's why ambassador Cohnan Kotarski is here to help.
Cohnan is giving us three tips for how to properly prepare for a workout. So when it's time to move, you'll feel ready to go. Let's check them out.
1. Gym 'Fit
Whatever you're doing, clothes can have a big impact. Cohnan explains that laying out your gym 'fit the night before will save you time and the mental energy of having to figure out what to wear before your workout.
Plus, you'll feel more motivated to get moving once you have your workout outfit ready to go.
2. Gym Playlist
Nothing gets you moving faster than good music. Creating a workout playlist of your favourite songs will get you pumped for the gym. To motivate yourself even more, Cohnan advises making a rule that you can only listen to music when you're working out. If that doesn't get you to the gym, we don't know what will.
3. Partner Up
Whether it's a personal trainer or a friend, having a partner is a great way to push yourself to follow through on exercising. Having someone with you makes the experience of working out more enjoyable, allows you to be social, and holds you accountable.
Take Home Message
It's easy to make excuses when it comes to your daily workout. We all have jobs and getting tired is normal. Using tips like these will help you make exercise a habit and push you to follow through, even when motivation is low. When it comes to exercise, consistency is key, but preparation definitely goes a long way.
