If you're like us, you love breakfast cereal. But with most options containing little nutrition and high levels of sugar, cereal is typically not the best choice for a healthy breakfast. That is, until now. This homemade Protein Cinnamon Cereal by @strictlythriving is all of the fun of cereal without the excess sugar, plus enough protein to help you hit your macros. Ingredients
- 1/2 cup oat flour
- 1 scoop Myprotein Cinnamon Cereal Impact Whey Protein
- 2 tbsp nut butter
- 2-3 tbsp milk
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1 & 1/2 tbsp sweetener of choice
- 1 & 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
Instructions
Mix oat flour, protein powder, 8g (~1/2 tbsp) sweetener, baking powder, and 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder together.
Add in nut butter and 15ml (~1 tbsp) milk.
Mix. Gradually add in milk little by little when mixing until forming a dry dough.
Roll dough out. Mix 15g (~1 tbsp) sweetener with cinnamon powder. Sprinkle on top of rolled out dough.
Press down gently for mixture to stick on dough. Use knife to cut into squares.
Bake for 7-10 minutes in a 350F/180C preheated oven. Allow to cool before serving.
