You can't go wrong with rice krispies. This classic treat will bring you back to the good old days, except this time, it's macro-friendly.
These Protein Rice Krispies Treats from Myprotein Kitchen will hit the spot whenever you're in need of something sweet. Plus, with just four ingredients, they're super easy to make. Let's check it out.
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp butter
- 10 oz bag of marshmallows
- 1 scoop Myprotein protein powder (we used Whey Forward in Fruity Cereal)
- 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
Instructions
Add your butter to a large pot over medium-high heat and stir until melted.
Add in the marshmallows, stirring constantly until melted completely.
Remove from heat and add Myprotein protein powder of choice. Stir well until combined.
Fold in the Rice Krispies cereal.
Add your mixture to a greased baking dish and press it into the corners so it’s evenly distributed.
Allow to sit at room temperature until set (approx. 30 min-1 hour). Cut into pieces and enjoy!
