Unflavored is perfect
5I have always favored vanilla protein powders in the past because they were the most flexible for using in different recipes & smoothies, but when I saw the "unflavored" flavor, I had to give it a go although I was skeptical. Most "unflavored" powders still have a flavor, just not one you would recognize. Another reviewer mentioned in passing that "the unflavored tastes like nothing" and I am happy to report that it does indeed "taste like nothing". I have added it to everything from fruit & veggie smoothies to protein pancakes to baked goods and nobody who has eaten those items has been able to discern any noticeable difference in taste. Even better, mixability is excellent with no clumpiness, and I have noticed no gastrointestinal issues. I am very happy with this flavor. Goes Well With:Everything I have tried. Fruit & veggie smoothies, pancakes, baked goods, etc.

Great stuff (chocolate fudge)
52 scoops of this comes out to about the same protein as a scoop of typical whey. Sure it has a few grams of fats and sugars but this shouldnt matter for most people who take this product. Highly recommend taking it with oatmeal for some extra fiber and occasional greek yogurt to help with digestion. Mixes and tastes better than 90% of the whey ive bought.Goes Well With:oatmeal milk peanut butter water

5I have never been a big fan of chocolate flavored protein but this one tastes pretty good. I use this one exclusively in my shakes.Goes Well With:shakes

mild flavor
5I really like the vanilla flavored protein because it is not overly sweet and can be mixed into foods such as Grape nuts and oatmeal for a declivous breakfast or snack. Goes Well With:Anything

Good budget protein
4Ok, so there is no real way to measure the effectiveness of protein other than feeding someone unaltered constant diet on daily basis and substitute type and brand of proteins as the only variable, with that keeping exactly the same training regimen. That said we can only judge proteins by the info industry feeds to us and taste/mixability. This protein is supposed to be slower absorbing, since it is mostly whey concentrate, which is actually good based on recent industry studies, meaning that your body is given a constant stream of protein rather than spike that is usually not well-absorbed. Chocolate flavor tastes good and right on target. Not that super wow, but very decent, no chalky taste detected. Mixability is so so, mixed with cool water in a shaker after vigorous shaking there are very few clumps left and they are rather smaller. So overall good protein, especially with deals that this site often publishes.

Impact is the best
5First offi order vanilla always a Chocolate shake guy my son too. But was pleased when I tried first time, mixed with water and ice. Tasted great, felt good after workout Tried with milk not to thick had desert flavor did not taste odd, funky or fake. Tastes like vanilla bean! Now weight been steady so I know protein is working as well my son takes 180 grams of protein. 4 shakes a day and food. He loves it too. Just brought another bag of vanilla and 2 chocolate. Great price, great product thank you lifetime customer. Goes Well With:Water, milk, juice, aloe Vera.

Smooth Vanilla Flavor
4Vanilla is a flavor that is difficult to pull off in protein powders. Meaning that most brands tend to just make it too sweet or put too much extract that it becomes a bit off putting. The nice thing about this vanilla flavor is that it is a very "natural" tasting vanilla in that it has a very smooth and lightly sweet flavor. One of the worst things in protein powders is that they are too sweet, and if you're someone that likes their powders with a nice subtle flavor, I would strong suggest Vanilla. It mixes well with greek yogurt, with just a few clumps when using a spoon and creates a nice smooth vanilla pudding like snack.Goes Well With:Greek Yogurt

good so far
4just received my impact protein, and it seems like a nice, clean protein. taste could be better but its functionality over taste. Not so great to mix but keep at it, it will dissolve eventually. Goes Well With:bananas!

42 scoops of this is 30g protein which is perfect. Tastes fantastic and mixes well (chocolate) 

I had not idea what to expect
5Taste is important but I have lowered expectations when it comes to supplements. Vanilla was surprisingly tasty especially for the calories. No funny after taste. I only mix it with a smoothie maker so it mixes well and thickens more than I expected. Highly recommended! I'll order more when I run low : -)Goes Well With:Unsweetened vanilla almond milk or occasionally with fruit
