Unflavored whey perfect for mixing with other flavored powders
4I purchased 5.5lb bags of Impact Whey during their black friday sale. I first tried the unflavored whey since I wanted to add it into my other protein powders to add an extra 20 grams of protein per serving. It mixes well and doesn't have any taste/smell of its own. I have yet to try it straight on its own though. I usually mix it in with a chocolate or vanilla whey powder to slightly reduce the sweetness. I will likely order another bag soon. Now, on to the reasons why I did not give a perfect 5 star. First off, the website list the 5.5lb bag as 200 servings per bag. I'm thinking ok cool, that's twice as much as the flavored powders (perhaps because it doesn't have any other additives like coloring, flavoring, etc.) When I received the bag, the back label clearly says 100 servings per bag. Well bummer. Oh well, it's still a good product. Next negative would be the zipper on these bags which many have mentioned. Upon first opening the bag, there is a lot of powder trapped in the zipper, which makes resealing the bag nearly impossible. I was able to tap out most of the powder and get it to seal after a few attempts. On occasion it still gets finicky just because you have to line it up perfectly (doesn't line up well on its own when you zip from one end to the other). I think a big improvement would be to use a heavier duty zipper with a slider on top. Overall, good product, but they need to correct the servings per bag listed on the website and the zipper upgrade wouldn't hurt.

Hate the zippers on their packaging
3The protein powder tastes OK and seems to be working fine once I figured out that this works best around workout and I need much more protein in my diet during the rest of my day. The main thing I want to complain is the zippers on these bags are of really bad quality. The protein powder will inevitably get into the zippers and make the zippers very hard to close. I ordered a 11 lb bag and could not even get the zipper to properly reseal for just once. After several tries, the zipper even broke. A zipper should have two parts on each side of the bag and the zipper broke off on one side of the bag. The bag is of good quality itself but the zipper is just of too bad quality and could not work with. I am curious how other customers worked with these zippers and gave good reviews.

Great tasting protein
5I have been shopping around to find a low-carb protein and 1 gram is about as low as you can go. I'm a Type 2 diabetic, so I'm watching my carb intake and I work out. This seems to check both boxes. I used sites like Labdoor to help in the the decision process. I always leaned toward buying a product I can purchase locally and have been mostly satisfied with those choices until I tried a vegan-based protein. The ingredients were great, the taste was nasty. I had to doctor it up with cinnamon and dark cocoa powder to make it palatable. After that experience, I decided to finally try MyProtein. I'm glad I did. Taste is great and super smooth. I mix it with unsweetened almond milk and drink it for breakfast and a post work-out drink. I've also added to a homemade crockpot chocolate oatmeal to sneak in some protein and add boost the chocolate taste.Goes Well With:half banana and/or a tablespoon natural peanut or almond butter and of unsweetened almond milk.

4So i tried a couple other brands and this one excells in mixability and taste hands down. It is all natural so you get exactly what it says. Great as a light post workout or pre.Goes Well With:Blend with bananas and milk!

Awful taste
1This protein tastes terrible. It doesn't taste like chocolate, it tastes like overly sweetened old milk. I've tried mixing with water and milk, but it's always awful. I will not be buying protein from this website again. Good prices but terrible taste on every flavor I've had. Goes Well With:Nothing

My Favorite Brand of Protein
5I love this protein! It tastes great and mixes well with everything! I've only tried the vanilla and cookies n' cream ones so far but haven't been disappointed and can't wait to try other flavors. It's effective and not bad price-wise. I isually get the 5.5 pound bag and use it in everything, even some baking recipes I have. I'm lactose intolerant and this protein really doesn't affect my stomach at all which leads me to believe it's a good quality. I recommend this to anyone who is a beginning lifter or athlete and to all those who are experienced ones as well. I even got my girlfriend hooked on this stuff! Great brand, won't take anything else!
