Pretty great replacement for anyone dairy sensitive
5I was recommended this by my uncle (he does five protein shakes a day, so he's tried a lot). I'm lactose intolerant, and dairy makes my face break out, so the idea of a whey protein that's dairy-free was very intriguing. I was a little nervous when some of the reviews talked about getting really sick after trying it, so I got a sample first. Haven't had any issues, maybe they were taking it on an empty stomach? Every person is different I guess 🤷‍♀️ Only slight issue is that the chocolate mint flavor never quite mixes thoroughly. There's always a few crunchy clumps left, which might be intentional? It's not entirely unpleasant.

4I am loving this protein. Not harsh on my stomach and digestive system like traditional whey. Will definitely keep buying. The cinnamon cereal flavor is great in oatmeal! I eat it every day!Goes Well With:Oatmeal, almond milk

5Good macros and all that, fruity cereal flavor is not great by itself (with just water or milk not in a shake), cinnamon cereal is great tho

Buyers beware
1I was pretty excited to try this new plant-based whey because I've been using MyProtein's "The Plant Protein" mix for a while. I got a smaller size of the decadent brownie flavor - and my normal tub of plant protein to be safe. So glad I did. Every time I try it I get a horrible stomach ache. I won't get too graphic, but...have you ever read that infamous Amazon review for those sugar-free gummy bears? Yeah... I am lactose intolerant but this isn't the reaction I normally have from eating dairy. Quite the opposite, actually. So - yes, I have a sensitive stomach, but if you're looking for dairy-free options then chances are you do too. Just be warned.

Horrible GI reaction
1Tried two different flavours - chocolate mint and strawberry banana. Both tasted good (if a little sweet) and mixed well. However, like a few other reviewers, BOTH induced severe vomiting about 2 hrs after ingesting. I thought it was food poisoning the first time, but after it happened with the other flavour as well I realized it was the protein. It seems to be fine for the majority of people. I don’t have any other food sensitivities or allergies so I’m not sure what I reacted to. Hopefully MyProtein sorts this out as it’s super distressing to experience.

4This is the best protein to mix with milk, I haven’t been able to find a “drinkable” protein for years. Doesn’t have a protein taste and is smooth and silky. I will be getting more!Goes Well With:Milk, in oatmeal

The best protein powder just got ethical!
5Love this product! I've always liked whey the best. I went vegan and just couldn't get myself to like pea protein, rice protein, etc. So I was stoked to see vegan (animal-free) whey come to Canada. It is SO smooth, exactly the calories-to-protein ratio you expect from whey, and delicious. Salted caramel is my favourite, mint chocolate is also very good. (Strawberry banana was fine. Really would not recommend chocolate brownie.) After mixing with water, the shake is always a little translucent. I look forward to the price coming down, but it's fair when there's a sale. Cheaper than Vega anyway. If you're vegan and curious about precision-fermented proteins, or if you're omnivore or vegetarian and want to see how good an animal-free product can be, definitely check this out. (Note that while this is animal-free and in my opinion ethically vegan, it isn't technically plant-based like pea protein. The protein was created by some hard-working microflora. But if you're into mushrooms and whatnot, that's probably not an issue!)Goes Well With:Salted caramel and mint chocolate are great on their own, but REALLY shine when shaken with iced coffee.

Great tasting and fast shipping!
5The taste of this protein supplement is the best I've had in a long time. I am totally switching to MyProtein from now on. It truly tastes like cereal and mixes well in a variety of shaker cups.Goes Well With:Milk. Best way to use this is with some milk in place of water, especially since it's sugar free, and low cal. You can easily add some milk depending on your diet.

Strawberry Banana
5I'm been using myprotein vegan powders for over a year and while I enjoy vanilla I was getting a little bored. Enter Whey Forward. I was worried the "identical dairy protein" would mess with my digestion as I've been vegan for 6 years. No such problem! I'm so happy to be able to try all these new flavours. So far I just have the strawberry banana and I love it. I'm hoping to mix it with plain yogurt to make a delicious post-workout snack. Great "whey" protein for vegans and definitely cruelty free. Highly recommend!

Yucky
2Not a good flavour. Most of the whey frwds are other than the mint chocolate in my opinion. This one tastes very artificial to the point where it just isnt worth itÂ
