Unflavored is Awful
1This is my first time having the calcium Caseinate. DO NOT BUY. It mixed awful and had a chalky taste. I’ve had the whey isolate and soy in unflavored and both are much better than this. I can’t even use the rest it’s taste is so bad. I attempted it in smoothies and oatmeal but nothing can mask the taste.

DOES NOT MIX WELL Taste unbearable
1This type of casein does not mixture well with water it gets all chunky and chalky. The texture is just horrible! Would not recommend getting this, better off sticking to whey (haven't try the other casein types). Only way to make this bearable is to mix in a smoothie otherwise DO NOT drink it with plain water.

Eh
4I usually don't care too much about taste, but this stuff is pretty bad. It's chalky and mixes terribly. Tastes pretty bad, too (chocolate flavor). All that said, the nutrition facts are impressive and the price was right. I'd say it definitely needs to be put in the blender, maybe with a scoop of peanut butter and some milk/almond milk. It's not anywhere as tasty as the whey protein, but it's meant for a specific purpose (slow release). I will def say that a shake with this will fill you up more than whey. Goes Well With:milk, peanut butter

Night fuel
5I take this before I sleep and love knowing that it will protect my gains while I sleep. Casein products are just a must if you are serious about maintaining muscle. This one is delicious. Fully recommend the choc smoooth with milk. Big treat before bed timeGoes Well With:milk- put in a blender

Does what Casein does.
4So i've officially tried all 3 casein products at MP (Milk Protein, CalciumCase, and Miscell) There is definitely a difference in quality and usability between the three, hence the change in price tag between the three. This product, Calcium Caseinate definitely belongs in the center of the 3. It mixes with milk or water and absorbs any liquid just as expected. It doesnt foam up weirdly like MilkProtein making it impossible to mix into a shake. But it doesnt mix into something smooooth like Miscellar does. It needs a lot of liquid and even then its still chunky. So this product turns into a sorta chunky pudding when you mix milk with it. Add some peanut butter/ground nuts onto that and MMMMM. Using this powder in your shaker WILL cause a thick substance and will remain sticky in the shaker, youll have to use a spoon to get it out!Goes Well With:Ground nuts. Nut butter. A BOWL, NOT A SHAKER.
