Terrible Taste and Terrible Texture
1I tried both the Vanilla and the Cookies & Cream flavor Casein. Both were absolutely terrible. The consistency is awful and the taste is very unpleasant. I even tried mixing with a sweetened almond milk to try to get the taste to be better (even tried mixing with peanut butter). I'm an avid Casein consumer and have tried many brands--this is definitely the lowest of low on my rankings. Goes Well With:Nothing

Not what I expected
3Was hoping for the best for this. Bought the chocolate, it mixed fine but became excessively thick with the recommmended mixing amounts (7-10 oz) with a shaker. Upped it to 14oz, still a little thick but not bad. Taste is probably the least enjoyable of all the myprotein products i’ve had. Very bitter, like an unsweetened coco Will try the vanilla next time to be fair

Chocolate flavor
2This review is mainly for the chocolate flavor, it is very thick so you need a lot of water compared to the vanilla flavor. The taste is not the same as the isolate whey smooth chocolate, not nearly as pleasant. The vanilla has a much easier flavor to drink and isn't as thick, I recommend mixing with a fork rather than using a shaker, it foams up very bad. I'll stick with vanilla next time, I don't even like to drink the chocolate.

The best I have tried out there!
5I have tried several different ones on the market and let me tell you this one literally tastes the best! Tastes just like a chocolate shake! Goes Well With:Almond milk and ice for a real “milkshake” experience!

A Great Protein Powder
5I am always impressed with the discounts and prices of MyProtein products. I got the Micellar Casein to use in my dessert recipes. The taste and texture are great in my opinion. I have gotten Vanilla and Cookies and Cream. Both are wonderful. Goes Well With:Protein fluff and milk shakes

Excellent Mixing Casein
4Great Casein protein. I got the Cookies and Cream flavour despite the notorious reputation it has on Myprotein. I was pleasantly surprised with the taste when I mixed it with my greek yogurt, and it thickened up the yogurt tremendously the way casein should. Definitely recommend and can't wait to try my Strawberry Cream version as well.Goes Well With:Milk, Greek Yogurt, Gainz

great product
5i mix this protein with a whey isolate to make a protein blend, smooth chocolate tastes heavenly with the rocky road isolate. great mixbilty. slightly chalky but thats only if im really nit picking Goes Well With:whey isolate

Great protien!
5I use this protien along with a whey isolate and a calcium casienate to make a protein blend that breaks down and feeds my muscles from 2-8 hours per serving. I have been doing this for a few years now and my gains have been very noticeable. Protien at these prices make this the best choice for anyone who is serious about muscle size and strength gains. Best casein I've used
5This is by far the best brand I've worked with. I do a lot of protein dessert baking. Casein can be tricky in terms of absorption and I feel like with other brands i have to choose between texture and taste, but this one has the best of both. The cookies & cream flavor was a little artificial for my liking, but the vanilla is perfect.

Superior Product!
5I honestly can't understand some of the bad reviews on this product, it seems like they're coming from people who have never taken casein and are expecting it to be like whey. Ive tried almost every casein on the market... ON, Kaged Kasein, Syntha 6, Dymatize casein, etc... and this is equal to if not better than any of them! This goes for taste, texture, and most important.. RESULTS. I was most recently taking Kaged Muscles Kasein for the past 6 months, made the switch to this protein and saw zero dropoff in recovery and zero soreness. It is by far more cost efficient and i actually prefer the Chocolate flavor over any other brand ive tried to this point. Mix it with pb fit and its absolutely delicious! Im not getting paid for this, but i respect a great product when it delivers..that being said, the majority of the bad reviews on this protein come from people who HAVE NEVER TAKEN CASEIN BEFORE! EVER!...... EVEN ONCE?!?!. Goes Well With:Almond Milk PB Fit
