Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread
- 1 tbsp peanut butter (or more)
- 1/2 scoop Myprotein cinnamon cereal whey forward (sub w/ other vegan/whey protein or omit and add 15g (~1 tbsp) sweetener)
- 1/4 cup liquid egg whites OR 1 egg
- 1/4 cup plant/dairy milk
- 1 + 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp granulated sweetener of choice
- 1 tsp butter
Instructions
Spread peanut butter onto one slice of bread. Press second slice on top. Slice into cubes.
Whisk egg/egg whites with protein powder, milk, and 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder.
Place butter in pan and heat at medium heat. While pan is heating up, dip bread cubes into the mixture for ~10 secs on each side.
Place soaked bread into heated pan. Cook on both sides until eggy mixture is fully cooked.
Mix 1 tsp cinnamon powder with granulated sweetener.
Coat cooked French toast bites in the mixture.
