Sometimes good things come in small packages, and this Mini Chocolate Banana Bread by Myprotein ambassador Vienna (@strictlythriving) is no exception. This nutritious version of a classic treat uses our innovative Whey Forward protein.

Whey Forward is our animal-free, environmentally friendly whey protein alternative. It tastes just like whey and even has the same macros! But thanks to fermentation instead of farming, Whey Forward is made with tiny organisms called microflora, no cows.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 scoop Whey Forward protein (sub w/ other vegan/whey protein OR extra flour + 15g (~1 tbsp) sweetener)
  • 1 + 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tbsp sweetener
  • 1 small banana, mashed
  • 2 tbsp soy/Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp vegan/dairy butter
  • 1 large egg white (sub w/ 5g (~1/2 tbsp) chia seeds + 30ml (~2 tbsp) water)
  • 2 tbsp plant/dairy milk (optional)

Instructions

1.

Mix the flour, protein powder, cocoa powder, sweetener, and baking powder together.

2.

Add in mashed banana, Greek yogurt, egg white, and butter. Mix till combined. If it’s too dry, gradually add in milk until banana bread consistency.

3.

Pour into lined loaf pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes in a 350F/180C preheated oven.
