If you had to buy in a pinch it will do fine
3Originally I bought the unflavored version, horrible idea. Then I switched to the brown rice powder (chocolate stevia) as this pea protein contains soy. In a MyProtein blog about pea protein, it promotes pea protein as an alternative for those who want to avoid soy. With that said, MyProtein's pea protein contains soy. While most criticized the brown rice powder for its graininess, I enjoyed it. It reminds me of a chocolate fudge popsicle. Fast forward to this review and I bought pea protein by mistake. Fourtnately I got the chocolate stevia version. While it's much smoother than the brown rice powder, it's much thicker. When adding more water, it loses its flavour. I will have to play around with the ratios (my baseline is 300mL for 1 full scoop). As for mixability, I use a fork so it's no a problem. From more recent reviews, the brown rice formula has changed. I'd still go for brown rice if avoided soy and dairy is the goal. It's a true shame the pea protein contains soy as it has potential.Goes Well With:Mixing with a fork

Good texture, tastes good
4Texture is good and mixes well into oats, but the soy protein tastes slightly better.

5I’ve tried lots of other vegan protein powders, and this is the only one that does not hurt my stomach. Tastes great. Mixes well into smoothies, yogurt, oatmeal. 10/10 recommend trying!Goes Well With:Oatmeal. SmoothiesÂ

Good/cheap protein
5I chose it simply due to its insanely cheap price. Wasn’t expecting much and was considerably happy with how many pounds I received for such a great deal. Taste is bland, mixes okay but is a little grainy which sucks. But I can’t complain too much, it does it’s job.Â

Solid Plant Based Protein
4Bought this to add a different protein to my routine, and it's not bad. I got unflavored to try it in a variety of applications, and it does have a little bit of a taste if you use it alone. I regularly mix it with a 50/50 skim milk & water base, and add in some Flavor Drops to give it a bit of a taste, and it does pretty well. You have to mix it really well or you can get clumps, and if you use anything thicker than water or skim milk it takes a good amount of effort to get clumps out. I've added it to smoothies and it's much better when it has lots of flavor to balance it out, and you mix it in a blender of some sort. Overall I feel like it's a great way to get some additional protein from a plant source vs. whey. I'm planning to try adding it to some recipes, but I'll need to work on the balance of liquids so this doesn't dry out whatever I make.Goes Well With:Flavor Drops, added to smoothies
