Don’t listen to the haters!
5This is Pea Protein. Period. If you want milkshake flavours buy milkshakes... I’m a long-time user of pea protein and regarding flavour this is as good as it gets. It’s texture is better than any of the others I’ve tried. Which when it comes to pea can be super gritty, this is not gritty at all! If you’re serious about effective vegan protein then use this, flavour should be your last priority. Keep making this awesome product!Goes Well With:I use coconut milk, blueberries, avocado, sometimes half a banana if I want it a bit sweeter. And a bit of ghee if I want a buttery taste.

Disgusting
2Honestly this is probably some of the worst protein I've ever tasted. I have 5.5 pounds of it and have been using it in chocolate chip protein pancakes to rid of it. Meh. It is good for what it is but the texture and taste are not worth it.

DO NOT BUY
1This stuff is hot garbage. It tastes like dirt, a serving is HUGE and i haven’t found one thing to mix it with that doesn’t become goopy. Their normal proteins are fine. If you are vegan there are way better options out there. There’s a reason this is so cheap.Goes Well With:Garbage

Great cost, great macros, good micros, poor taste.
4The good: - Very cheap - Actually pure pea protein, no soy, no dairy - Has 40% daily iron per serving - Is great for anyone who can't eat hard foods and wants protein. The bad: - Tastes bad. Almost impossible for me to drink it straight. Flavouring with sweet flavours is hard and doesn't always work without lots of flavouring. Salty flavouring may be the best way to go, something that would taste like a soup.Goes Well With:Soups (tomato, cream of potato, cream of mushroom, cream of broccoli, etc.), almond milk and spices to effectively make a soup

2The taste is average, this protein powder is waaaaaay to dry. Only do 1 scoop, try to do 2 and mix with coconut milk, and you got goop Goes Well With:Not really sure at this point

Exceptional deal and mixes well
5I bought the unflavored version so it definitely wasn't going to taste good. My taste rating is off of a mixture of almond milk, sugar, and cocoa powder. It mixed incredibly well (the easiest mixing protein I've had) and tasted and felt good. Overall, it's a great effective protein powder. My only complaint (which isn't a fault of the company) is that pea protein is slightly lacking in methionine. Nothing a little rice protein won't fix though.Goes Well With:Sweetened almond milk and chocolate flavoring/cocoa powder. Rice protein powder for complementary amino acid profiles.

Digestion problems
1I've always had a great experience with other supplements from MyProtein (whey isolate, BCAA powder, men's multivitamin), so I did not hesitate to go ahead and buy the 5-pound bag for this pea protein. However I am extremely disappointed in this product and simply cannot recommend it for a couple of reasons. 1. It gave me explosive diarrhea. I know it is specific to this pea protein because I've had no problems with pea proteins from other brands in the past. 2. Does not mix well. Clumps and is very thick, and the texture is also quite gritty. Overall, not a product that I will be finishing, much less buying again.

Great for shakes, not by itself
4Definitely put it in a shake, alone, it's taste is quite wierd - literally just like peas. The best thing about it is the texture, and the worst thing is foaming. It foams quite a lot if you shake it up by itself, blended with other things it is less of a problem. 9/10 I would say. Tastes great with flavored soymilk.Goes Well With:Flavored Soymilks

It taste like how you would imagine it to
5One of my favorite dairy free protein options. I throw it in my daily smoothie and can’t taste it. But if you drink it by itself it’s very interesting. Great texture Goes Well With:Smoothies or making pancakes (taste like a biscuit though)

Break out of the "sweet protein delivery" box
5This review is to provide suggestions for alternate ways to consume this pea protein and to discuss my experiences with it. Do you like savory flavories? How about vegetable soup? I add this powder to hot water in my travel mug and blend it all together with a little battery-operated milk frother I bought on amazon. I add a few shakes of garlic salt, ground black pepper, and some Mrs. Dash salt-free vegetable seasoning. It’s a nice hot drink… soup–to-go. Filling and satisfying in the morning but light enough to not make me drowsy. I like that I can add my blend of powdered calcium and magnesium supplement to this vegetable protein soup drink. One teaspoon of my calc/mag supplement (I like Bulk Supplements brand products) goes really well in this drink even though it gives a slight chalky/gritty texture to others. The powder thickens up quickly in the water but cleans easily out of my travel mug (plastic cover and stainless steel mug interior) even after a day at work. Break away from the typical sweet protein shakes. Creative types can find many ways to incorporate this into regular meals or make new meals from it. I do recommend. Goes Well With:Hot water, salt, pepper. Hot water, diced turkey, carrots, celery.
